As a TEDxPerth exclusive, Molly will take to the red circle again, this time from London to share how the simple act of reading to children sparks imagination and creativity. In 2021, Molly stunned the world when she, as a seven-year-old, delivered a talk about early childhood education and how children thrive when parents give them full attention

Greg AKA "Space Gandalf" will lead the audience on a journey that will give a cosmic perspective that makes all other issues seem small. Greg is an astronomer.

Instead of the traditional classroom environment, Alex believes every student should have tutor. How will this be achieved? He tells us AI will revolutionise the way we teach and learn. As Director of WA Data Science Innovation Hub at Curtin University, he is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of STEM professionals and propelling Australia’s tech workforce forward.

Anaesthetist, columnist & Former President of AMA
The former AMA WA president will share how his elderly mother changed how he thinks about and practices medicine and advocacy, and shaped his view that defeating ageism starts with seeing the elderly as people.
Lauren shares how she uses photography as a tool to empower women, heal the wounds of personal and challenge patriarchy. Lauren is a prominent Perth photographer.
Susie will share how a mission to improve driving accessibility for young people facing a variety of barriers led to fewer young people jailed for driving offences and fewer deaths on the roads.
CLAUDIO will discuss how the path to artistic fulfilment is perhaps less about ideas and more about observing and dissolving the lifelong emotional blocks that keep us in creative paralysis and accidental imitation.

Meet Chris Taylor
We are thrilled to announce that TEDxPerth 2023 will be hosted by guest MC, Chris Taylor!
Chris is a writer, performer and broadcaster who is best known as a member of ABC's The Chaser team and is responsible for television shows such as CNNNN and The Chaser's War on Everything, as well as numerous award-winning election specials.
More recently, he was the creator, co-writer and producer of the critically acclaimed Foxtel/Binge drama Upright, starring Tim Minchin.
