Shani Graham

Jahna Cedar

Jahna will share how, as a Nyiyaparli/Yindijbarndi woman from the Pilbara region, she navigates two worlds with differing practices and responsibilities.

She believes that to progress reconciliation, a more widespread understanding of this code switching is needed, and her talk will help listeners develop their understanding. Jahna is Executive Director at IPS Management Consultants.

Dr. Nerida Wilson

WA Museum Marine & Molecular Biologist

Len Collard

Nyungar Elder & WA Local Hero Nominee

Dr Andrew Miller

Anaesthetist, columnist & Former President of AMA

Lauren Crooke

Lauren shares how she uses photography as a tool to empower women, heal the wounds of personal and challenge patriarchy. Lauren is a prominent Perth photographer.

Susie Delaporte

Community Coordinator

Susie has a background working in disability support, homelessness, domestic violence and foster care. That’s all alongside her day job as Senior Community Engagement Officer at Shire of Donnybrook-Balingup, where she has led the community response to recent bushfires.

Susie will share how her mission to improve accessibility for young drivers facing a variety of barriers led to fewer young people jailed for driving offences, fewer deaths on WA roads, and greater opportunities for community engagement.

Peter Holmes à Court

Australian Businessman

As a child of influential parents, success should have been a foregone conclusion for the eldest son of Robert and Janet Holmes à Court. Despite a distinguished and successful career as a theatre producer, entrepreneur, rugby league club owner and Sydney city advocate, things didn’t quite work out how he thought.

After many years out of the spotlight, Peter returns to his hometown to deliver his first-ever TEDx talk.

Sandor Mulsow

Professor of Marine Geology

The deep-sea floor is home to unknown quantities of minerals, including rare earth’s essential to renewable energy technology. But what are the ecological and other impacts of undersea mining, and who is responsible for protecting it?
